Located in
Northeast Texas, we are a family-run ranch that raises AQHA foundation quarter
horses and border collie herding dogs as well as grass fed Hereford/Brangus
cattle.
Our focus includes the
foundation bloodlines of Jessie James, Poco Bueno, King, and Joe Hancock .
Most of our herd we’ve
raised on site from foals; some were born here as well. Our horses are bred
for conformation, bloodline, and even temperament.
We occasionally breed
outside mares – please check for fees and availability.
Our foals come in a full
range of colors – grullo, roan, buckskin, dun, black, and palomino. Please
review our Sale page for available animals.
We’ve also been raising ABCA registered Border Collies for nearly a decade.
Many of our border collies are from imported bloodlines, and all are large to
medium dogs, with the longer, rough coat. Our Border Collies are selected as
breeding stock for their herding ability, good looks, and calm (for a border
collie), people-friendly disposition.
Border Collie puppies are
available most of the time. Check our Border Collie page for available
puppies.
Wolter Ranch Quarter Horses raises foundation and working-bred horses near Sulphur Springs, Texas. We offer about 30 foals for sale each year from our carefully-selected broodmare band.
