BORDER COLLIES - AVAILABLE PUPPIES
Our border collies are selected as breeding stock based on four criteria- herding instinct, pedigree, even temperament, and good looks. All are registered with the American Border Collie Association.
Our border collies all have the long, rough coat, though it may not grow in til they're 6 months or so.
Ourborder collies are medium to large dogs. Males are 50-55 pounds, our female border collies 35-45 pounds. Many of our border collies were bred and born right here, so it is possible to see your puppy’s grandma, full and half brothers and sisters, and an occasional aunt or uncle.
We have puppies most of the time, occasionally grown dogs.

How we manage our waiting list:
Prior to the puppies' birth:
Please send us an e-mail explaining what you want.
We'll hold it until a litter is born.
We announce on the website when the puppies are born.
Once the new puppies are 3 -4 weeks old, we'll send you an e-mail asking if you are still interested. If you are, feel free to select a puppy. We will mark the puppy "Sale Pending" and hold that puppy for you, no cost, till that puppy is 6 weeks old.
Once the puppy is 6 weeks old, we prefer you come pick up your new puppy. If you'd like to wait past the first 6 weeks or so, we can certainly do that up to 2 weeks, but at this point we'll need a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the selling price.

Note: At Wolter Ranch, we sell Border Collie puppies primarily as pets. We are not in the business of selling breeding stock.

1- Payment in cash is due when your puppy is picked up. A receipt is provided.
2- We ask that your puppy receive a vet check within 5 days after the puppy is picked up. All vet costs incurred by purchaser are the purchaser's responsibility.
3-In the unlikely event that the puppy has a major, life-threatening defect, the puppy can be exchanged for another of similar value is we are notified within 5 days of puppy pick up. This should be documented with a letter from the veterinarian, and a personal phone call to the vet from us (if this should ever happen we would certainly want to know the details!). Under no circumstances is the puppy price or vet costs refunded.
